How to Arrive

The most efficient way to get to Jayleen Clarke Quay is via MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) if you are traveling light. Clarke Quay MRT Station (NE5) of the North East Line located at the nearby "The Central" shopping mall has a very convenient, flat, easy three-minute walk from Carpenter Street exit to the hotel lobby. The line goes directly to HarbourFront (for Sentosa) and Little India, so getting around the island cannot be made any easier.

A taxi or Grab ride from Changi Airport to the hotel will take about 20-25 minutes more or less depending on traffic. Fares are quite reasonable (between $20-$30 SGD) in comparison with any major city around the world. Alternatively, yes, it is possible to take the MRT from the airport but make a transfer at Tanah Merah and again at Expo/Bugis onto either the Downtown or North East line; not exactly fun if you're carrying a lot of luggage. For most people it's preferred for that 'last mile' to either flag down a cab or pre-book an airport shuttle service.

Public buses also serve the hotel frequently along South Bridge Road and New Bridge Road with routes heading toward Orchard Road shopping belt and Botanic Gardens, Singapore’s bus system is clean to the extreme and always runs on time. Using either an EZ-Link card or contactless credit card, getting on and off buses is easy but due to Singapore’s heat and humidity most guests find a nearby MRT station as their main lifeline of traveling around the island in air-conditioned comfort.
